Founded by musician, Terry Arthur in 2008, The LoveDay Project is a team of people who deliver food hampers and gifts for families and children of the less fortunate at Christmas, as well as helping fire victims and those who have fallen on hard times throughout the year. We have been doing this for the past eleven years. We usually host events to raise funds for purchasing food items, and wholesalers assist us by offering greatly discounted prices. We have hosted a blindfold gift wrapping contest that was streamed live and viewed by people from Australia and New Zealand, to Canada, the U.K. the USA and throughout the Caribbean, and last year we hosted The LoveDay Olympics on Dover Playing Field, which featured numerous entertainment, sports, business and media celebrities, as well as four members of parliament, and three senators. Our fun activities raised $8,800.00 which helped us to pack and deliver 300 hampers.
