The naturally occuring Polysaccharides found in mushrooms contain Beta Glucans which are the primary biological response modifier found in mushrooms, and their principle beneficial compounds.

We only use extract from the fruiting body of the mushroom, this ensures that the polysaccharides are rich in beta glucans. Some poor quality mushroom products extract from the roots and growing medium, which also contain polysaccharides although these are Alpha Glucans which are of little human benefit.
